"Sarah Palin Breaking Ranks With Republican Party (Video) Added by Thomas Barr on July 2, 2013. Saved under Thomas Barr, U.S. Tags: top Sarah Palin is believed to be breaking ranks with the Republication Party in regards to the Amnesty issue. Palin made comments bashing head Republican Marco Rubio for flip-flopping on the Amnesty issue of giving away earned pathways for citizenship to illegal immigrants.
Palin noted that Rubio campaigned against amnesty as a political candidate and now supports it as the leading Republican in the U.S. Congress. “Politicians wonder why we can’t trust them? Campaign flip-flops like this….,” she stated on social media in a tweet. Palin garnered much support of her position regarding the issue of amnesty as it related to the flip-flopper Rubio.
She has been very active on social media in voicing her concerns of party decision making. “If the GOP continues to back away from the planks in our platform, from the principles that built this party of Lincoln and of Reagan, then yeah, more and more of us are gonna start saying you know, what’s wrong with being independent – kinda with that Libertarian streak that much of us have, in other words we want government to back off and not infringe upon our rights,” Palin told FNC’s Uma Pemmaraju.
Palin’s discontent with party leaders has led to her contemplation of leaving the party and standing on her on own platform.
“Folks like me are barely hanging on to our enlistment papers in any political party – and it’s precisely because of flip-flopping political actions like amnesty force us to ask how much more bull from both the elephants in the Republican Party and the jackasses in the Democratic Party we have to swallow before these political machines totally abandon the average commonsense working American,” she commented on her Facebook status update. Sarah Palin has demonstrated her anguish by breaking with the Republican Party ranks and saying what others are thinking.
Critics of the party are of the opinion that attention should be paid to party members and not overpaid consultants. The Republican Party has often been faced with partisan exodus threats and has somehow weathered the storm.
With immigration becoming a major issue in the politics of congress, politicians have been forced to take a stand regarding the matter. It will sure to become a big issue in the coming 2016 elections and many will agree that It will impact election outcomes.
In regard to the past 2012 elections the GOP have had concerns within the party over whether to embrace a comprehensive immigration bill which leads to citizenship for illegal immigrants. The Realty of the issue is that it could damage the party if the correct decision has not been accomplished as it relates to the future.
Sarah Palin is clearly a formidable force with the Republican Party and head butting Marco Rubio publicly does not bode well for the GOP leadership.
It unclear how the party will mend dissent among party factions but an unwavering civil war continues to be constant among officials. With Sarah Palin breaking ranks with Republican Party senior officials on relevant issues 2016 elections will be an interesting event in the near future. By Thomas Barr
