Conservatives Know And Are Loyal To Their Own.Poll On Virginia Site "President 2016" Has Palin At 73%

Posted on 6:35 PM by Unknown
Subsequent to Lloyd Marcus publishing an article in American Thinker castigating those in the GOP who have been undercutting  or frankly outright disloyal to Sarah Palin it is instructive to get a measure on what the rank and file thinks.

A site "JH Politics which appears to be Virginia based, AT THIS LINK has been running a series of straw polls here is their December result:

2016 Straw Poll: December 2012

Published on December 3, 2012 by Justin Higgins in National
Our November straw poll results were pretty interesting. Rand Paul benefited from a huge online surge, showing that his father’s supporters on the web are all-in for another Paul candidacy, at least at this stage. “Other” finished second, primarily because of supporters of Jeb Bush and Sarah Palin. Bush and Palin have been added to the December poll for that reason.
Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan lead the pack among “traditional” conservative candidates. The two potential candidates from Ohio, John Kasich and Rob Portman, fared the worst. Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell did worse than I expected, primarily because Virginians would prefer him to run for the United States Senate. We’ll see what December’s results show:
2016 Straw Poll: December 2012
  • Sarah Palin (41%, 357 Votes)
  • Rand Paul (29%, 255 Votes)
  • Marco Rubio (10%, 85 Votes)
  • Other (4%, 36 Votes)
  • Jeb Bush (3%, 25 Votes)
  • Chris Christie (2%, 19 Votes)
  • Bobby Jindal (2%, 16 Votes)
  • Paul Ryan (2%, 16 Votes)
  • Jon Huntsman (2%, 15 Votes)
  • Mike Huckabee (1%, 11 Votes)
  • Rick Santorum (1%, 11 Votes)
  • Bob McDonnell (1%, 9 Votes)
  • Rob Portman (1%, 7 Votes)
  • John Kasich (1%, 6 Votes)
  • Scott Walker (1%, 6 Votes)
  • Nikki Haley (0%, 2 Votes)
Total Voters: 876

Their latest poll, currently on line for January has, with 660 votes counted so far Palin way out in front with 73% of the vote.Rand Paul may have had a bit of a bump with the indication that he was definitely a candidate for 2016 but the depth of palin's support is clealry manifest in the latest poll

Lloyd Marcus At American Thinker-A Wonderful Article;"The Lesson in the Betrayal of Sarah Palin"

Posted on 12:41 AM by Unknown
Lloyd Marcus hits a home run  at "The American Thinker" with this grand analysis of how Sarah Palin has been so badly treated by the party to which she has contributed so much. I'll let it speak for itself

************************************************************************

Rush Limbaugh on his radio show discussed an article which stated that there is no respected voice in the national arena articulating conservatism.  Such an advocate for conservatism is crucial to reversing the direction of America as Obama drives us toward socialism while low-info voters gleefully sing Kumbaya in the backseat.
Well excuse me for pointing out the obvious, but we had an extraordinary advocate for conservatism, and look what happened to her.  Judas on our side betrayed her -- sold her reputation for 30 seconds of fame and favor with the media.
Even now, folks on our side are still beating up on Sarah Palin, saying Palin has lost her appeal -- Palin is unelectable -- Palin wasn't smart enough -- Palin wasn't prepared, etc.  So this is how we treat our heroes.
Many Democratic Party politicians/advocates are immoral, liars, and cheats.  And yet, they are treated like superstars by the media.  Democrats have the backs of their associates, no matter what.  For example: Democrats never rebuked Clinton for receiving oral sex from an intern in the Oval Office.  They simply launched a campaign claiming that any man in Clinton's position would have reacted like him.  Think about that, folks: Democrats and the media lowered the standard of national leadership behavior to cover their guy.
We conservatives act as if our representatives must be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ -- perfect in every way.  At a conservative's slightest misstep, Republicans/conservatives trip over one another backing away from the individual in an effort to get out of the media's and Democrats' line of fire.
Clearly, advocates of conservatism are expected by both parties to walk on water.
Word on the political street is we need a respected advocate for conservatism to reach low-info voters.  While I do believe that a new voice will emerge, I wonder who could be better than Sarah Palin?  Will we betray our new conservative hero?
Inevitably, Palin's humanity was revealed; she was not perfect.  But still, Palin is extraordinary and will be a tough act to follow.
Allow me to recap.  Immediately following her amazing VP nomination acceptance speech, the media/the left went crazy, consumed with hatred and a desperate desire to destroy her.  Why?  Palin was a beautiful, smart, articulate, and strong woman who boldly touted traditional values and a love for God, family, and country -- all of which are anathemas to the left.

First Photo's Sarah And Todd Palin At Russo Steele Auction Scottsdale Arizona

Posted on 8:16 PM by Unknown
Update#3. Well this bit of paranoia from the madwoman Malia Litman's PDS in extremis site beats all. Really there is nothing I can add to it except to advise "The Kid' to fix his tinfoil hat really tight or Sarah's electron rays will get him.

The Kid;

"Well she is up to no good again…had a plane going in circles in the area for almost 3 hours today…should have gave them a view of my butt…lol…
I don’t care Malia it’s just weird, that’s all…have connections that I called and now it’s gone…nice to know retirees…federal agents are the BEST"

Udate#2. I posted the original expose on "Gryphen" and Immoral Minority-scroll to later posts subsequent to this for that and further examination of the bizarre cult they have established or see it AT THIS LINK
Update:If anyone from the psychiatric profession is looking for case studies of morbid insanity they should go to the "Immoral Minority" site where the clearly mad are commenting in droves in the most disgusting manner possible about Palin. These people actually believe there are a number of "Trig's" and Todd Palin murdered one and buried him under his air plane hangar's concrete slab". They are beyond help. For those interested in such psychopathology I wrote a post on them AT THIS LINK

Later that evening, at Harold's restaurant.(From Julie with thanks)

Here is what appears to a be wonderful family souvenir-apparently the Palin's driver at the event

Daily Kos Joins Wonkette In Keeping "Palin Said Sambo Beat The Bitch" Canard Alive. To Recycle if Needed In 2016?

Posted on 8:13 PM by Unknown
Wonkette once again recycles the unfounded and anonymous contumely that Sarah Palin allegedly said "So Sambo beat the bitch" in public after Obama beat Hillary for the nomination.

The "source for this preposterous, unproven and unattributed to a revealed person nonsense was an article by one Charley James  a self-described "slight deranged" person who writes for "Progressive L.A.

THE PROGRESSIVE CURMUDGEON®

A PROGRESSIVE LOOK AT US POLITICAL, FOREIGN POLICY, SOCIAL, LAW AND WAR-AND-PEACE ISSUES THROUGH THE EYES OF A SLIGHTLY DERANGED EX-PAT YANK WRITING FROM CANADA. AFFILIATED WITH WWW.LAPROGRESSIVE.COM AND WWW.UKPROGRESSIVE.COM

No reputable journal or television site touched the 'story', with the "quote" attributed to an "aboriginal waitress who wouldn't be named' which was clearly a hatchet job against Palin when she was perceived as a threat top the left's hero Barack Obama and anything they could think up and throw at her was fair game for them.

Nothing daunted by anything as honourable as journalistic ethics both the far leftist site "Wonkette" ran with it and, unbelievably, their new editor, one Rebecca Schoenkopf (a self-described "commie girl') did so again by linking to the original Wonkette post this week.

The "progressive" site Daily Kos also ran with it in 2008, and to their shame, if their editor one Kos Moulitsas is in possession of any such rare leftist quality, it is still available on the internet    AT THIS LINK.

Moulitsas is the person who, when Gabby Gifford's was shot tweeted "mission accomplished Sarah Palin" so it is of course too much to expect such a person to remove the post from the internet or at least have a post written disowning it if he is unable to have it removed-fat chance.

It is beyond any doubt that this base canard, and the whole cupboard full of similar, like these from "Gawker"
anti-Palin lies, especially the beyond infamous "Trig is not Palin's son" will be dredged up by the like of Wonkette and Kos if Palin decides to run in 2016-such is the nature of leftist intellectual dishonesty.

John McCain Is Alive Four Years Later And Dem Scare Tactics About Palin "A Heartbeat Away From The Presidency" Are Now Seen In All Their Vileness

Posted on 4:20 PM by Unknown
Even though it is an utter myth that "McCain choosing Palin cost him the presidency" as all major post election analysis proves the left still trots such rubbish out from time to time when it suits them.

The latest binge of leftist lies and hate was recently when McCain (and others) opposed the nomination of Susan Rice to replace Hillary Clinton at State. The social media was alight with post after post advising that McCain had no right to make any such opposition as his judgement was so flawed by choosing Palin as his VP nominee "a heartbeat away from the presidency of an old man".

Well here we are more than four years after the 2008 election with McCain not only hale and hearty but with judgement, if anything, actually even better than ever as his opposition to Rice brought out her flaws and any thoughts of proceeding with it ceased.

It is no guarantee of course but McCain's genetic inheritance would have led one to believe that he has some time to go in this world as his mother was a great age when he was nominated. But whatever the case it would have seemed very unlikely, even with the pressures of office that the left envisages killing him off, that McCain would have died within say the first two years of his presidency by which time Palin would have been more than up to speed-but such obvious facts did not enter into the scurrilous Obama campaign teams directives to their troops as to what message they spread.

Speaking of scurrilous as regards this whole shameful episode in leftist Alinsky campaigning the worst was from the medical field-to their utter shame, Two doctors were trotted out for Obama campaign commercials discussing McCain's history of cancer treatment and how that may have impacted on him going forward if elected.

The doctors violated their Hippocratic oath and were/are hypocritical oafs-one can only hope they never live down the shame

If Sarah Palin Accepted Your Dinner Party Invitation Which Five Others Would You Invite?

Posted on 11:42 AM by Unknown
Lets say that you wrote to Sarah Palin and said that if she was ever in your neighbourhood you would be delighted to have her as a dinner guest.

Then, lo and behold a letter postmarked Wasilla Alaska arrives and upon opening  it Sarah graciously advises that yes, she will be in your neck of the woods next week and woudl be delighted to break bread with you. It sounds just like the sort of thing she would do being 'the great commoner" that she is.

Now you would want to make the evening interesting for Sarah, it would be taken for granted it will be interesting for you. So as to make the event not a one sided affair you would of course invite five interesting people to add to the wine, and the catered food (catered not because luxury is required but so that you wouldn't need to spend a moment away from the table in the kitchen missing a bon mot).

But who? Well if I were so honored by such an acceptance my guest list (I would be confident they would attend) would comprise no current politicians-I would look to open, unguarded, and frank conversation unhindered by the Beltway iron curtain.

Robert Stacy McCain the fiery conservative (natch) journalist who runs "The Other McCain" (along with his trusty side kick "Smitty"-an extra chair would be appropriate for an amanuensis). I would envisage a spirited discussion about the state of the GOP, conservatism and the administration.

Mary Beth House; an editor at the now venerable "Conservatives4Palin. House would be an ideal representative the view of young conservatives and I would be confident Palin would find her refreshing and challenging.

Greta Van Susteren; a television journalist who is outspoken but a voice of reason. Worldly but in touch with the common man and a skilled conversationalist.

Ben Bernanke; because it would be fascinating hear him justify  in an informal surrounds, his economic policies and to hear him present a vision for America based on them. Palin's interlocutory response with him would be fascinating as it would probably be the only opportunity to hear an unsanitised, stock response that we get in front of congressional hearings.

Jon Stewart; just for the heck of it. He is after all a highly intelligent man and funny with it to boot and of all the leftist comedians he has, from time to time of course, been one of the very few who has given Palin a fair time of it.

That's my guest list and I would be sure a good time would be had by one and all (except perhaps Mr. Bernanke but no one forced him to attend eh?).

No doubt others could come up with a far more scintillating guest list-who would you wish to invite and why?

Jim DeMint Falls Short In First Heritage Post.Conservative Ideas Need A New Messenger-Not "A New Message"

Posted on 11:24 AM by Unknown
Here is a quote from Jim DeMint's column "Conservative ideas need a new message" in 'The Washington Post'. Senator DeMint is speaking about his new role in April as president of the conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation.

"November’s election results and exit polls suggest that a majority of Americans agree that government does too much yet still voted for more of it. The election taught conservatives that we can no longer entrust political parties to carry our message. We must take our case to the people ourselves, and we must start where all good marketing starts: with research. Conservative policies have proved their worth time and time again. If we’re not communicating in a way that makes that clear, we are doing a disservice to our fellow citizens. We need to test the market and our message to communicate more effectively."

DeMint is of course correct in advising that the conservative message must be taken directly to the people, but he is off the mark in the degree that he appears to wish this to happen. He is off the mark too with the message conveyed by the posts title (if indeed he wrote it instead of the editor presenting his work with that introduction). And he blames the 2012 election loss on "political parties" (why the plural when it was only one party which lost which was supposedly conveying the conservative message?)

There is absolutely no question that in the light of the overwhelming preponderance of the media, including Hollywood, promoting leftist views that the conservative movement must mount a vigorous defense of conservatism.

Conservative ideas, in their absolute basic Reaganite core do not need "a new message." Common sense solutions, like keeping a reign on government spending, on having the lowest possible taxation in accordance with a fair society, of encouraging the entrepreneur, of a strong defense, and of safety nets for the disadvantaged are timeless.

So too in the social sphere are conservative ideals of respect for life, and for the traditional family. Conservatives believe strongly in responsible immigration, and they support the right for Israel to live in peace and security. There is no need for a new message in these and other basic conservative ideas and ideals.

There is no question that yes, a percentage of voters voted for more, or continuous at the current level, government. But to consider that that was the only reason the Republicans lost is wrong. They also lost because they had as a candidate someone who represented the very worst image of a conservative-an almost caricature of a fleet of Cadillac's, multi-home owning plutocrat who ran an appalling campaign, and who was a member of a religious sect which turned off conservative Christians  They lost because the ran a wooden vice-presidential candidate with no mass appeal, and they lost because Mitt Romney did not run as a Reaganite.

The conservative message does not need adding to in any major way-it needs enunciating by conservative politicians who are clearly seen as genuine conservatives and who have the trust of the rank and file that they won't be flip-floppers once elected. Ted Cruz, a Palinite, is a classic example. So yes, "political parties" can be trusted to deliver the conservative message if they are composed of genuine conservative representatives.

Sarah Palin would be the antithesis of Mitt Romney as a presidential candidate, and could be trusted completely not only enunciate conservatism, but to put conservative policies into place once elected.

DeMint is half right, the conservative message must be delivered anew. Delivered to the great mass of Americans not necessarily in a revised form, by not only by the Heritage Foundation and the like, but also by conservative politicians and the Republican Party led by conservatives.

The responsibility for the latter rests with the voters in the primary elections and they will be better able to do that if they are armed with the conservative message delivered by the likes of the Heritage Foundation. But it must be a three pronged effort-education, genuine conservative politicians, and leadership/candidacy from Sarah Palin or a Palinite presidential candidate shoudl she choose not to run.
